What’s New? LOTS!

Ok, so it’s now November, and I’m actually having a hard time grasping the fact the summer has flown by, fall disappeared and it’s now almost Christmas. So, yeah. I am really behind on getting the blog up to speed.

I finally have my Nail Art Gallery 2014 updated with new photos, and my personal info is all up to date too. Wow, think I actually had a *bit* of spare time to get caught up? Sshh, don’t tell anyone!

My BIG NEWS is that I am now an ACE Akzentz Certified Educator! I’m super excited to be in with such an amazing group of talented nail techs!

I am ready and looking forward to teaching everyone about this wonderful gel line!

I spent 3 days in Burnaby, BC in September at the Akzentz head office with a group of great techs. Here’s a few photos from my trip and training.

And to make it all that much better, Akzentz Options Soak Off Line was voted the best soak off gel In Nails Magazine Readers Choice awards!!

LiLash – the Final Update

Ok, so as you all know I’ve been using LiLash for the past 2 months, and I am loving it!!  My eyelashes are way longer than they were when I started.  It took about 2 weeks to start to see a difference, and now the length on them is very noticeable!  LiLash is the bomb.com.  Period.   And yes, I will keep this as part of my beauty regime.  The web site says that you can use it just 3 or so times a week once you have the lashes that you want.

I do have this in stock at the salon!  Come in and get yours today!

LiLash – after 2 months

LiLash – Before

The LiLash Update

Alrighty – so it’s been 4 weeks since my last LiLash post, and 4 weeks since I have been using LiLash. And, I have to say, this stuff is working!  My lashes are visibly longer, even without mascara.  I have been using LiLash every day, sometimes twice a day, so it’s just become part of my regular routine. I’ll do another follow up in about 4 more weeks and show you the final results!  I do have a few left in stock at the salon, it’s selling like hotcakes!

Here’s my eyelashes just 4 weeks ago….

The LiLash Experiment

Once again, I’m on the hunt for that perfect lash serum that gives me the ultimate long, curly lashes that I so desire – without the costly prescription Latisse or Lumigan.  Yes, I’m really that vain. A while ago, I was using Enormous Lash, and I got fairly decent results with it.  But, I’m kinda bored with it, and I want something new.

So, enter LiLash. The company claims that “LiLash is the world’s most popular purified eyelash serum, giving you the sexy lashes you have always wanted.”  Well, I’ll be the judge of that!  But, the before and after pics after using LiLash for 6 weeks do look impressive…

So, I’m putting my own teensy-weensy lashes out there for the world to see – my before pics.  With mascara, I thank you.  I’ll keep using LiLash for 6 weeks and hopefully by the end, my eyes will look as hot and sexy as this serum claims they will!

Training with Gemma Lambert!

Summer is almost over, and i can’t believe it.  And, I also can’t believe this is only my second post…  Oops.  Well, what can I say other than I have been super busy at work – which is good – and in between everything, managing to get in my Contessa entries for the year, getting an entry done for Nails Magazine and I managed to squeeze in a class in Kelowna.  What will September bring?

I just finished a gel and acrylic class with the uber amazing Gemma Lambert.  She’s so cute and we all learned so much from her!  Big thanks to Nail Techniques in Kelowna for hosting the class. 🙂
